A lot of us have probably tried many pre-workouts throughout the years. We all look for the same thing: provider of a good sense of energy and a decent taste. USPlabs’ Jack3d tasted decent and has a good pump after a scoop and a half, but they changed the formula and it was not the same. Cellucor’s C4 tasted like crap with a minor pump.
The newest of the group is SirenLabs’ SHOCK’D. Most GNCs have it in two flavors; grape and strawberry. The grape flavor, from my experience and other’s recommendations, does not taste bad at all. It is a bearable taste if you like grape. Part one of the test was a success. Now to see if the pump was as good as people say it is.
People were right. Within 20 minutes of finishing the last drop, you will have enough energy and concentration to take yourself to new heights in the weight room. The amount of Vitamins B and D that are in this is enough for an average person to get through their day with focus and awareness. Now throw in the SHOCK’D blend, as they call it, and you feel as if you can conquer the world. A mixture of Hemo Pump, ATP Surge, Beta Shock, and more, the SHOCK’D blend has done wonders for those that have tried it.
As a morning lifter, I need the pre-workout to wake myself up and give myself the extra boost of motivation. I have heard people coming from a 10-hour workday that drink this on the way to the gym. They have the same results.
One review on GNC.com states, “A seriously legit pre-workout. Awesome experiences with Shock’D. I feel a great sense of energy when lifting, get an awesome pump going, and makes the overall workout seem easier.” All comments on the page are of a positive nature.
Have you tried SHOCK’D or any other pre-workouts that would like to tell us about? What do you recommend to others?
