I have been lifting for the past 5 or 6 years on and off since I started playing football in high school. Training for that and rugby have been huge motivations for me at first. But now, it has become a passion and part of my daily routine. Days without the gym, even on my off days, seem like something is missing. My next reason to train is to start running in the obstacle courses, such as Spartan Run, Warrior Dash, and Tough Mudder. My take on the workout posts will be more on the side of the athletes. Different sports training is the reason why a lot of people begin to lift.
